We work on fixed-scope projects and on time-and-materials retainers. Fixed-scope engagements typically start at around $30,000 USD; retainers start at a half-time senior engineer. We’re happy to share reference ranges on our first call.
Remote-first, with the team distributed across North America and Europe. We keep at least four hours of daily overlap with every client, and we don’t accept work that would require around-the-clock coverage from a small team.
TypeScript and React on the frontend, Node and Go on the backend, AWS and GCP for infrastructure, and modern LLM stacks for our AI practice. We pick tools to suit the problem, not the resume.
Every engagement includes a security baseline: least-privilege IAM, HTTPS end-to-end, secrets management, dependency scanning, and a response plan. We sign NDAs on request and can work under your compliance framework — including SOC 2 and HIPAA where applicable.
Yes. Our AI practice is built around evaluations, retrieval, and guardrails. We won’t ship an LLM feature without a way to measure whether it’s working — and we’re comfortable telling a client when an idea isn’t yet ready for production.
You do. All code and assets we produce under a client engagement are yours, delivered in your repositories, under a clear IP assignment in the contract.
